From Plot to Pot is a practical guide to growing and cooking organic fruit and vegetables from a no-dig allotment in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The site follows the journey from seed to plate — sharing what’s grown on the plot and how to use it in the kitchen. Everything is based from my real experience at the Lauriston Agroecology Farm Community Allotments.
The aim is simple: grow good food, waste less, and make the most of what the plot produces throughout the seasons.

The Early Days of the Plot
Before this website was created, much of the allotment journey — from the very first day on site — was shared on Facebook . Although I don’t post there regularly anymore, it remains a valuable record of those early stages: clearing the ground, planning the first beds, and learning as we went along.
